Wooooohoooo!!!
~Happy Halloween!!!
To kick things off with my maniacal Halloween plans {muuuuhahaha}, I have a super awesome guest who's going to share with us not only his experiences of Halloween's past but also his Epic artworks.
Growing up #Horror stories were much more intense than most, those of you who know the Myth of Highway Sheila might understand what I mean.
Now watching horror movies is sort of a guilty pleasure of mine, I love it because the really good ones can make you question everything you know to be true about the world. A great example of this is the movie As Above, So Below.
*goosebumps* if you get a chance you should watch it.
I truly enjoy following Sean on twitter, if you're a horror fan his posts are a must see & the guy is always interactive with his followers. His art is moi impressivo & I thought this would be a great tag to introduce him you.
I'm an artist that does weird and unusual art which is heavily influenced by my nightmares, night terrors and things that just pop in my head. I'm involved in some interesting projects including artwork for the upcoming horror flick Death House which has the largest group of horror icons in one horror flick, providing artwork and inspiration for Josh Millican's monthly serial Deeper Than Hell available at MorbidlyBeautiful.com, working on a Virtual Reality homage of Night Of The Living Dead with CryptUK and some other odds and ends.
You can connect with me on Twitter @OddNMacabre where I host nightly watch and tweet horror movie nights and I look forward to meeting you.

1. Do you celebrate Halloween?
- Yeppers
- Nope, not since I was a kid.
- I don't have one in particular but some of my favorites include The Changeling (1981), Legend of Hell House (1973), WitchBoard (1987) and the list goes on...
- Get up off my arse and take a look around.
- Yep when I was a kid.
- Hmmm that's a tough one because I'm guessing reading daily news headlines doesn't count huh? I guess I'll have to go with Stephen King's It.
7. What was your first Halloween costume?
- I don't remember to be honest with you.
- None of them because I'm not a dumbass.
- I choose a disintegration ray that is just point, shoot and poof they're gone!!! Oh and it has a rechargeable battery and is indestructible. Yep that should handle those evil zombies!?!
10. What is your favorite Halloween candy?
- I don't really have one.
- Yep
- It's a secret.
- I haven't played any scary pranks on anyone, but I've had a few played on me.
- Probably around 5 years old or maybe a little younger.
- Yep, it marks Fall to me which is my favorite time of the year.
- That's a loaded question because it means different things to different people.
- I don't have one, but I think some of the costumes folks make are pretty amazing.
- I really don't have one unless you want to count Godzilla.
19. If you were in a horror movie, how far do you think you would get?
- Not gonna be in one. Not gonna do it. Nope. Nope. Nope.
- I have more than one, but I think falling out of the back of a car is definitely one of the most memorable.

- Nope, I stay out of that.
- That's a rough question to answer. I'm a fan of all types of art and artists from Jim Davis the artist and writer of Garfield that entertains to Van Gogh who mesmerizes with Starry Night.
- I'm just being me and trying to find deeper and new ways to share my visions with others.

ReplyDeleteI don't really celebrate Halloween since the kids grew up and married. I've bought candy for the 3 previous Halloween's since moving here but no one showed up. I didn't buy any this year and everyone showed up.
ReplyDeleteI think I've only had one costume and that was when I was an adult.
